The programme opens at the Main Venue with a curtain raiser by Matha, Perambra, followed by the formal inauguration and a performance by Thaikkudam Bridge at 7:00 PM.
TODAY · 25 AUGUST
Five of the six venues are in use tonight. Malayalam theatre begins at the Town Hall, and the folk arts programme at Mananchira runs from 6:00 PM with Theyyam, Kathakali and a violin fusion set.

Entry to every venue is free and seating is unreserved. Times are published where the District Administration has confirmed them; where a listing shows no time, it will be announced at the venue.

A Celebration of Kerala's Spirit

Onam is Kerala's most cherished festival — a celebration of harvest, homecoming and coming back together. For 2026 the Kozhikode District Administration has put together seven evenings of it: orchestras and ghazal nights on the main stage, Malayalam theatre at the Town Hall, Kathakali, Theyyam and Oppana at Mananchira, and classical recitals at Tali. Every performance is free and open to all.
